One killed, three injured in Sango-ota road mishap

On Friday, at least one person was reported dead while three others sustain injuries in a lone accident involving a commercial bus at Sango-ota Ogun State.

Mr Adekunle Oguntoyinbo commander of Sango-ota unit FRSC confirmed the incident and said that the accident happened at about 5:20 pm.

He explained that the commercial bus with registration number FST 633XW, heading to Owode-Ijako from toll gate lost control of the vehicle due to brake failure and rammed into a beggar beside the road.

The unit commander, however, advise beggars to desist from begging for money on the roadside.

Oguntoyinbo also urged pedestrians to be cautious in order to avoid unnecessary loss of lives on the road.
